Welcome to my website!
This first blog post is going to be a “Get to Know Me” type post. It’s going to be a bit different than what I plan to blog about in the future!
So, without further ado…
My name is Chelsea. I have 3 beautiful kids, Natalie, Parker, and Benson, and they keep me so busy! I also have a wonderful, supportive fiancé, Bruce. We’ve been together for over 4 years now and we truly could not be happier. We also have two cats, Gizmo and Mango. They are such a riot when they start to play together! In addition to our chaotic household, I have a mild plant obsession. It started during COVID and has run ramped since.
On a normal day, you’ll catch me taking my children to school, hitting the gym, coming home to be a homemaker for a bit, then working on my business until it’s time to pick my babies up! I enjoy taking my family to do fun adventures on the weekends. We also love going to Great Wolf Lodge about twice a year! The county fairs, water parks, mini golf, movie nights, drive-ins, and bowling are also ways my family loves to spend time together. You can catch us singing jingles or “Let It Go” all day.
Bruce and the kids have been my guinea pigs through this journey of honing my skills. They have been so patient with me through the many hours of adjusting lighting, camera settings, and even the occasional prop or two. Couldn’t talk about support without giving my parents a shout out for the many, many evenings of babysitting they’ve done over the years while I’m shooting a session.
I have been a photographer, professionally, for 2 years now, but I’ve been playing with a camera since high school (2013!). I have always found such happiness behind a camera collecting memories for my clients. I am a silly person and I enjoy cracking jokes while I’m shooting a session to help my clients feel at ease and help the session be a positive experience for them!
And there you have it! Short, sweet, to the point! In a nutshell, you’ve had a glimpse of who I am and a blip of my story! I hope you follow along on this journey with me as we capture beautiful moments for all the wonderful people around us!
